We were formally introduced at our last Regional Convention by mutual friends. I later found out that I left quite the impression on her and she began to ask about me. Over the next few months we kept crossing paths periodically. On one of those occasions we attended the same gathering where we talked and bonded over the Denver Broncos. I asked her to dance that night but she declined and went the whole night without dancing together. That should have been the end of our story but a few weeks later we ended up having lunch with the same group after the meeting and that’s when we started to get to know each other better. At this point, Robin got tired of me not getting the hint and invited me to a friend’s karaoke night at her house. This required me to get the courage to ask for number and that’s how it all began.

It was during karaoke that we began to realize we were both pretty awesome. Not long after our courtship began! It did not take long for us both to realize just how amazing we were together and getting engaged just felt so natural and right.
